About the event
Network with NAACP members from across the state at the 111th Oklahoma State Conference Convention at the Oklahoma City Community College Visual Performing Arts Center beginning Friday, November 1st at 5:30 p.m. through Saturday, November 2nd at 5:30pm.
This years conference theme is "All In: Closing the Wealth Gap." Keynote speaker John Stewart founder and CEO of The Black Unicorn Factory in Los Angeles CA, will highlight the impact and opportunities created by the Jobs Act.
Registration will begin Friday evening at 5 p.m. at the reception honoring this year's Keynote speaker. Registration continues at 8 a.m. Saturday, including a continental breakfast.
The Opening Plenary begins at 9 a.m., and will feature chapter organization training and a conversation about legal redress related to holding state social programs and agencies accountable.
